SMALL OPEN HARBOUR BOAT

The Nano Air 21 is our smallest aluminium workboat.

This sturdy open aluminium workboat is very suitable for harbour operations. The boat comes standard with handtiller steering but is also available with front or side steering console and hydraulic steering system. With the standard 67 HP inboard watercooled SCAM or aircooled HATZ diesel engine the boat has a topspeed of 12 knots. With the stronger 85 HP or 100 HP SCAM engine more bollard pull and an even higher top speed up till 16 knots is possible. The hull is constructed according Lloyd's register.

The Nano is a tough, durable little ship that will be at home in harbours, oil and gas terminals, on deck of Naval and Commercial ships, and in many government and law enforcement applications.

The Nano is a simple but highly engineered vessel designed by Lomocean, the same design team that designed Earthrace and Planet Solar. 

The Nano diesel propulsion with conventional shaft is made for hard work, long life and low maintenance, unlike outboards and sterndrives. The Nano is built to resist shocks, abrasion, corrosion, daily cranehandling and intensive use. It will last for decades with minimum maintenance and low running costs. The Nano is the alternative to lightly built fast boats and RIBs, and also to slow steel boats, providing the same reliable strength with more speed and no rust. The design is Lloyds register approved and the hull can be built under full survey.

The Nano Air 21 has a weight less then 2000 Kg. This makes this sturdy and durable workboat very easy to lift with a 2000 Kg boat- or shorecrane. The boat comes with four overdimensioned hoistingpoints designed for more then 10.000 lifts.
